WHAT IS AT UNITY OF POMONA
Unity's Messages are filled with Hope and Joy and Tools to assist you in connecting to the Divine Spirit that is your core essence. We call this the Christ within, the Sacred Presence, and know it is found in the mystical branches of all world religions. From this Indwelling Presence comes wisdom, healing, comfort, strength, imagination, love, understanding, and much more. Join us for our 10:30 am Sunday Morning Service.
Unity's music is a blend of Oldies, New Thought, and Original Hits by our Music Director, Julie Edwards Matanga. Our choir, instrumental and soloist's music is complemented by the beautiful powerpoint images that accompany them. Come and join in the singing!
Meditation sooths the soul and purifies the body, allowing them to rest and refresh to prepare you for your work in the world. Group meditation often takes us deeper. We meditate together in the 10:30 am Sunday Service, at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings and at special Meditation Events.
Classes come in many forms, from classical New Thought books to popular Spiritual Development books, to Scriptures from the Religions of the World, to practical ways to Communicate Effectively and Compassionately like HeartMath and NonViolent Communication. As we do this work we build bridges to the inner Mystery and to the outer Other, that result in deep Peace.
Spiritual Counseling is available on a Love Offering basis by appointment with Rev. Jan Chase
Our Spiritual Paths Book Store has a large array of spiritual books on many topics to serve your needs, curiosity, and spiritual hunger.
Unity of Pomona supports families in a number of ways. We are open to restarting our Youth Education Classes at 10:30 am Sunday Mornings. Teens are also invited to regional rallies and local gatherings.
